Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Action Analgesic Tablets (100s bulk bottle) is a multi-action combination analgesic designed for fast, enhanced pain relief. By targeting multiple physiological pathways simultaneously, it provides superior efficacy compared to single-ingredient analgesics:
• Central & Peripheral Pain Inhibition (Paracetamol & Aspirin): Paracetamol acts centrally to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in the brain, raising the pain perception threshold and lowering body temperature via the hypothalamic heat-regulating center. Concurrently, aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) provides peripheral anti-inflammatory and analgesic action by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes at the site of tissue irritation.
• Analgesic Potentiation (Caffeine): Acts as an adjuvant that enhances the efficacy and speeds up the onset of action of both paracetamol and aspirin. Additionally, caffeine induces mild cranial vasoconstriction, which helps alleviate throbbing vascular headaches and migraines.
• Rapid Multi-Symptom Relief: The combined formulation targets pain, tissue inflammation, vascular headache symptoms, and febrile discomfort in a single dose.

Clinical Indications

• Action Analgesic Tablets 100s is indicated for:
• Fast relief of acute tension headaches, sinus headaches, and migraine attacks
• Management of dental pain, toothaches, and post-dental procedure discomfort
• Relief of musculoskeletal aches, backaches, joint stiffness, and rheumatic pain
• Easing menstrual pain and abdominal cramps associated with dysmenorrhea
• Lowering fever and relieving generalised body aches from colds, flu, and viral infections

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

• Administration: Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water, preferably after a meal to reduce gastric irritation.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults & Adolescents over 16 years: 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets within a 24-hour period.
• Children & Adolescents under 16 years: Not recommended due to the association of aspirin with Reye’s syndrome in young individuals recovering from viral illnesses.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Contains aspirin; avoid use in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic or renal impairment, or known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs. Avoid concurrent consumption of excessive caffeine-containing beverages (coffee, tea, energy drinks). Do not combine with other paracetamol- or aspirin-containing medications to avoid risk of toxicity.
