• Selective Peripheral $\text{H}_1$-Receptor Antagonism (Loratadine 10mg): Potently and selectively blocks peripheral histamine $\text{H}_1$ receptors on effector cells, inhibiting histamine-mediated capillary permeability, vasodilation, and smooth muscle constriction triggered during allergic cascades.
• Non-Sedating 24-Hour Coverage: Exhibits minimal affinity for central nervous system histamine receptors and does not readily cross the blood-brain barrier at recommended clinical doses, providing 24-hour continuous symptom control without causing sedation.
• Rapid Onset of Action: Quickly absorbed after oral ingestion, initiating noticeable symptom relief within 1 to 3 hours and reaching peak concentration to maintain day-long protection with a single daily dose.

Clinical Indications

• Claritine 10mg Tablets 20s is indicated for:
• Fast relief of nasal and ocular symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, rhinorrhea (runny nose), nasal itching, and burning or watery eyes
• Relief of symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), including reduction of skin redness, itching, and localized wheals

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Swallow 1 tablet whole with a glass of water once daily. Claritine may be taken with or without food.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults and Children 12 years and older (or body weight over 30kg): 1 tablet (10mg) once daily.
• Children under 12 years (or body weight 30kg or less): Use age-appropriate syrup or lower-dose pediatric formulations under medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For oral administration only. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Use with caution in patients with severe liver impairment (a starting dose of 10mg every other day is recommended). Discontinue use at least 48 hours prior to skin allergy testing to prevent interference with test results. Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from direct heat and moisture.
