Deep Heat Rub 35g is a compact, fast-acting topical heating cream formulated with dual counter-irritants to stimulate localized blood circulation, generate soothing warmth, and rapidly relieve muscle stiffness, joint pain, and backache.

Overview & Mechanism of Action

  • Deep Heat Rub (35g tube) provides targeted, hyperemic heat therapy directly at the site of muscular tension and joint discomfort:
  • Vascular Hyperemia & Counter-Irritation (Methyl Salicylate): Functions as a topically absorbed rubefacient and local analgesic that dilates superficial blood vessels, increasing localized blood flow to flush away inflammatory metabolic waste and ease deep muscle tightness.
  • Thermal Cold/Warm Sensory Gating (Menthol): Activates cutaneous thermoreceptors ($TRPM8$) to produce a rapid cooling sensation followed by a deep warming effect, modulating pain signaling pathway transmission to the brain via the gate control theory of pain.
  • Aromatic Decongestive Oils (Eucalyptus & Turpentine Oils): Synergistically enhance skin penetration and capillary dilation, providing additional hyperemic warmth and muscle relaxation to stiff, overexerted tissues.

Clinical Indications

  • Deep Heat Rub 35g is indicated for:
  • Symptomatic relief of acute muscle pain, stiffness, strain, sprains, and tissue soreness resulting from physical exertion or athletic activity
  • Management of localized rheumatic pain, fibrositis, lumbago, sciatica, and joint stiffness
  • Pre-exercise warming application to loosen stiff muscles and reduce muscle strain risks before physical training

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Apply a generous layer of cream to the affected painful area and massage thoroughly into the skin until completely absorbed. Apply 2 to 3 times daily as needed. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after application unless treating the hands.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external topical use only. Do not apply to open wounds, broken or irritated skin, sensitive face areas, or near the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not wrap or bandage tightly or apply external heat (such as heating pads) immediately after application, as this may increase skin irritation or risk blistering. Contraindicated in individuals hypersensitive to salicylates, menthol, or aspirin. Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
