KES 21

Pack: 1's

A topical anti-inflammatory gel designed for targeted, localized relief from joint pain, backaches, muscular strains, and sports injuries. Formulated to absorb quickly into the skin to reduce swelling and inflammation directly at the source.

1

Formulated for high transdermal penetration, this topical gel contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which works by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. By blocking these enzymes, the gel halts the synthesis of prostaglandins—the specific chemical messengers responsible for triggering pain, heat, and inflammatory swelling in response to injury or chronic joint wear.

Key Benefits

  • Targeted Action: Delivers powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects directly to the affected joint, tendon, or muscle group.
  • Rapid Dermal Absorption: The non-greasy, fast-drying formula penetrates quickly without leaving a sticky residue or staining clothing.
  • Excellent Safety Profile: Minimizes the risk of systemic NSAID side effects, such as gastric irritation, ulcers, or cardiovascular concerns.
  • Improves Mobility: Effectively reduces the stiffness and swelling associated with chronic joint conditions, helping restore physical flexibility and comfort.

Therapeutic Indications

This gel is indicated for the localized relief of pain and inflammation associated with:

  • Degenerative Joint Disease: Osteoarthritis of superficial joints such as the knees, ankles, and fingers.
  • Soft Tissue Rheumatism: Tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, and periarthropathy.
  • Traumatic Injuries: Acute strains, sprains, muscle contusions, and sports-related soft tissue injuries.

Usage & Application Instructions

  1. Prepare the Area: Ensure the skin over the affected area is clean, dry, and free of open wounds, cuts, or rashes.
  2. Apply the Gel: Squeeze out a small amount of gel (typically the size of a penny or cherry, depending on the size of the affected area) and gently massage it into the skin until completely absorbed.
  3. Frequency: Apply 3 to 4 times daily at spaced intervals, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  4. Post-Application: Wash your hands thoroughly immediately after application, unless your hands are the treated area.
