Enzoflam Gel 30g is a fast-absorbing, multi-action topical pain relief gel combining Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol to rapidly reduce inflammation, soothe joint stiffness, and relieve deep muscle pain.

Overview & Mechanism of Action

  • Enzoflam Gel (30g tube) delivers multi-pathway topical analgesia and anti-inflammatory therapy to eliminate localized muscle, tendon, and joint pain:
  • NSAID Anti-Inflammatory Action (Diclofenac Diethylamine): Inhibits cyclooxygenase ($COX-1$ and $COX-2$) enzymes, suppressing local prostaglandin synthesis at the injury site to reduce tissue edema, vascular swelling, and acute pain signaling.
  • Natural Anti-Inflammatory Permeation Enhancer (Linseed / Flaxseed Oil): Rich in $\alpha$-linolenic acid, it modulates inflammatory eicosanoid production while enhancing the transdermal penetration of active NSAID molecules into deeper subcutaneous layers and synovial spaces.
  • Hyperemic Counter-Irritation & Sensory Gating (Methyl Salicylate & Menthol): Methyl Salicylate induces localized superficial blood vessel dilation to improve tissue flushing. Menthol stimulates thermal cold receptors ($TRPM8$), producing a cooling sensation followed by gentle warming that desensitizes peripheral nociceptors and interrupts spinal pain transmission.

Clinical Indications

  • Enzoflam Gel 30g is indicated for:Fast symptomatic relief of acute musculoskeletal soreness, muscle sprains, ligament strains, and sports-related soft tissue injuries
  • Management of localized pain and joint inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, and tenosynovitis
  • Alleviation of acute lower backache (lumbago), neck and shoulder stiffness, and post-workout muscle soreness

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Apply a thin layer (2g to 4g, equivalent to a 2 to 4 cm strip) to the affected painful area 3 to 4 times daily. Gently massage into the skin until completely absorbed. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after application, unless the hands are the treatment area.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external topical use only on intact skin. Do not apply to open wounds, cuts, burns, skin rashes, or near the eyes and mucous membranes. Contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to Diclofenac, aspirin, or other NSAIDs. Do not wrap with occlusive bandages or apply external heating pads over the treated site. Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from direct heat and light. Keep out of reach of children.
