Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Evolve Carmellose Eye Drops (10ml bottle) delivers long-lasting moisture and ocular surface protection through an advanced, preservative-free multi-dose delivery system:
• Tear Film Stabilization & Lubrication (Carmellose Sodium / Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose): Functions as a high-viscosity synthetic polymer that mimics natural mucins in human tears. It binds to corneal epithelial cells, increasing tear film breakup time (TBUT) and maintaining a smooth, protective moisture layer over the ocular surface.
• Corneal Protection & Hydrophilic Retention: Binds water molecules to rehydrate corneal and conjunctival epithelial tissues, reducing friction caused by blinking and soothing burning, stinging, or foreign-body sensations.
• Preservative-Free Ocular Comfort: Delivered in a specialized multi-dose dropper bottle designed to keep the solution sterile without chemical preservatives (such as benzalkonium chloride), minimizing the risk of corneal toxicity or allergic sensitization during frequent, long-term use.

Clinical Indications

• Evolve Carmellose Eye Drops 10ml is indicated for:
• Symptomatic relief of mild to moderate dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), burning, soreness, or grittiness
• Soothing eye discomfort caused by prolonged digital screen use, heating/air conditioning, wind, smoke, or environmental pollution
• Rehydrating and lubricating all types of soft and rigid contact lenses while worn, enhancing wearing comfort throughout the day

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Wash hands thoroughly before use. Tilt head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instil 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed throughout the day. Blink a few times to evenly spread the drops across the ocular surface.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For ophthalmic topical use only. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelid, fingers, or any other surface to prevent microbial contamination. If using other ophthalmic medications, wait at least 10 to 15 minutes between applications (instil Evolve Carmellose last). Transient mild blunted or blurred vision may occur immediately after instillation; wait until vision clears before driving or operating machinery. Discontinue use and consult an eye care professional if eye pain, persistent redness, or visual changes develop. Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
