Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Farm Liniment (500ml bottle) provides multi-action rubefacient and local anesthetic relief to soothe overexerted muscles, stiff joints, and inflamed soft tissues:
• Counter-Irritant & Vascular Stimulation (Methyl Salicylate): Induces local vasodilation to increase microcirculation in affected tissues. Increased arterial blood flow flushes out metabolic inflammatory byproducts (such as lactic acid) while relieving deep-seated pain.
• Cooling Analgesic & Sensory Modulation (Menthol): Stimulates cutaneous $TRPM8$ thermal cold receptors to create a cooling sensory sensation that distracts from deeper pain signals sent to the central nervous system, reducing local swelling and hyperalgesia.
• Rubefacient & Hyperemic Action (Camphor): Acts as a mild local anesthetic and counter-irritant, dilating capillary beds to promote hyperemic blood flow, warm stiff muscles, and accelerate cellular recovery in strained tendons and ligaments.

Clinical Indications

• Farm Liniment 500ml is indicated for:
• Symptomatic relief of muscular stiffness, soreness, and tissue fatigue caused by overexertion or heavy physical work
• Localized care for sprains, strains, tendonitis, and joint inflammation in large animals, livestock, or athletic recovery

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Apply generously to the affected area and massage thoroughly into the skin until completely absorbed. May be applied 2 to 3 times daily as needed.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external topical use only. Do not apply to open wounds, broken skin, cuts, or irritated mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after application. Do not wrap or bandage tightly immediately after application, as covering the treated skin tightly may cause severe skin irritation or blistering.
