Overview & Mechanism of Action
- Gastrozyme Effervescent Tablets (20s) offer a fast-dissolving, highly bioavailable oral solution designed to tackle acute gastrointestinal gas and post-meal discomfort. Its action combines immediate effervescent dispersion with targeted defoaming activity:
- Anti-Foaming Gas Breakdown (Simethicone): Acts directly in the stomach and intestinal lumen by altering the surface tension of trapped mucus-covered gas bubbles. This causes small gas bubbles to coalesce into larger, free bubbles that are easily eliminated through belching or flatus.
- Rapid Effervescent Delivery: Dissolving the tablet in water creates an active, buffered liquid suspension that reaches irritated mucosal walls almost instantly, providing faster relief than standard oral swallow tablets or softgels.
- Digestive Relief: Relieves intra-abdominal pressure, eases painful gastric distension, and calms indigestion associated with heavy, high-fat, or gas-producing meals.
