  • Infacol Colic Relief Drops (60ml bottle with integrated calibrated dropper, 40mg/ml Simethicone) provides gentle, physical surface-tension reduction to relieve gastrointestinal gas accumulation in infants:
  • Surface Tension Coalescence (Simethicone): Acts as a non-systemic, inert surfactant that lowers the surface tension of small, trapped mucus-bound gas bubbles within the stomach and intestines.
  • Bubble Aggregation & Easy Gas Release: Causes tiny, painful gas pockets to coalesce into larger, free-floating bubbles that can be easily expelled by the infant through burping or passing flatus.
  • Zero Systemic Absorption: Works entirely locally within the gastrointestinal tract without entering the bloodstream or interfering with natural digestive enzyme activity, ensuring high safety for newborn infants.

Clinical Indications & Uses

  • Infacol Liquid 60ml is indicated for:
  • Relief of infant colic, griping abdominal pain, and crying fits caused by trapped wind and swallowed air
  • Management of painful abdominal distension and gas buildup following bottle-feeding or breastfeeding from birth onwards

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Shake bottle well before use. Use the integrated plastic dropper to measure one full dropperful (0.5ml) onto the back of the baby's tongue before each feed. If necessary, after several days, the dose may be increased to two full dropperfuls (1ml). Continue usage for several days to achieve optimal results.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Infants (Birth onwards): 0.5ml (one full dropper) given before every feed.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For oral pediatric use only. Do not give to infants with known hypersensitivity to simethicone or any formulation ingredients. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless advised by a pediatrician. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, worsen, or if accompanied by fever, vomiting, or altered bowel habits.
