Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Komfort Xtra Eye Drops (10ml sterile ophthalmic solution) combines high-capacity viscoelastic humectants and ocular demulcents to restore and reinforce the protective lacrimal tear film:
• Tear Film Stabilization & Moisture Retention: Forms a flexible, hydrophilic protective layer over the corneal and conjunctival epithelium, attracting water molecules and reducing surface evaporation to sustain prolonged hydration.
• Corneal Epithelial Protection & Lubrication: Reduces mechanical friction between the eyelid and corneal surface during blinking, promoting micro-healing of minor corneal surface micro-erosions caused by dryness.
• Viscoelastic Rheology: Exhibits pseudoplastic viscosity, thinning out during blinking for clear visual acuity while thickening between blinks to maintain a stable, uniform tear shield across the eye surface.

Clinical Indications & Uses

• Komfort Xtra Eye Drops 10ml is indicated for:Symptomatic relief of dry eye symptoms, including burning, stinging, itching, grittiness, and foreign body sensation
• Soothing eye strain, dryness, and fatigue induced by prolonged visual focus on digital screens, computers, or mobile devices
• Relieving ocular discomfort caused by environmental irritants such as air conditioning, wind, smoke, dust, pollution, or dry heat Rehydrating and lubricating eyes for contact lens wearers or individuals suffering from age-related reduced tear production

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Wash hands thoroughly before use. Tilt head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s). Blink several times to distribute the solution evenly across the ocular surface.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults and Children: Instill 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) 3 to 4 times daily, or as frequently as needed for dry eye relief.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external ophthalmic use only. Do not touch the bottle dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or fingers, to prevent microbial contamination of the sterile solution. Discontinue use and consult an ophthalmologist if you experience persistent eye pain, changes in vision, ongoing redness, or worsening irritation lasting longer than 72 hours. Replace cap tightly after each use. Store below $25^\circ\text{C}$ in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Discard remaining contents 30 days after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
