- Lactogut-SB Sachets (box of 10 individual dose sachets) provides targeted microflora replenishment and mucosal protection within the gastrointestinal tract:
- Targeted Gut Flora Repopulation: Delivers a synergistic combination of lyophilized non-pathogenic yeast (Saccharomyces boulardii) and essential probiotic bacteria that survive gastric acidity to colonize the intestinal lumen, crowding out pathogenic microbes and re-establishing healthy intestinal microflora.
- Pathogen Neutralization & Antitoxin Action: Saccharomyces boulardii produces specific proteolytic enzymes that neutralize bacterial enterotoxins (such as those produced by Clostridium difficile and Escherichia coli) while competitively inhibiting pathogen adherence to the intestinal mucosal wall.

- Lactogut-SB Sachets 10s is indicated for:
- Prevention and symptomatic management of antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) and C. difficile colitis
- Treatment of acute infectious diarrhea, rotavirus gastroenteritis, and traveler's diarrhea in adults and children
- Restoration of normal gut microbiota following gastrointestinal illness or ongoing functional bowel disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions
Administration:
- Empty sachet contents into a small glass of water, milk, or non-acidic beverage, or blend directly into cool soft food. Mix well and consume immediately. Do not mix with hot or boiling liquids/foods to avoid deactivating the live microflora.
Recommended Dosage:
- Adults and Children over 2 years: Take 1 to 2 sachets daily, preferably between meals or as prescribed by a physician.
Precautions & Warnings:
- For oral administration only. Contraindicated in critically ill or severely immunocompromised patients, or those with central venous catheter access due to the risk of systemic fungemia. Concurrent administration of oral antifungal medications will significantly reduce the therapeutic efficacy of Saccharomyces boulardii; separate dosing by at least 2 to 3 hours. Store below $25^\circ\text{C}$ in a dry place away from heat and direct moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
