Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Pileseptin Gel tube equipped with an applicator nozzle for perianal and intra-rectal administration) provides multi-target soothing relief for inflamed anorectal tissues:
• Vascular Astringency & Edema Reduction: Exerts a mild astringent effect on engorged hemorrhoidal venules, promoting local vasoconstriction to reduce tissue swelling, vascular engorgement, and minor capillary bleeding.
• Protective Bio-Adhesive Hydrogel Barrier: Forms a smooth, cooling protective film over excoriated mucosal surfaces and anal tissue. This film shields delicate nerve endings from acidic digestive residues and reduces mechanical friction during defecation.
• Pruritus & Pain Alleviation: Calms hypersensitive cutaneous sensory fibers in the perianal zone, rapidly interrupting the itch-scratch cycle and relieving painful burning sensations.

Clinical Indications & Uses

• Pileseptin Gel 50ml is indicated for:
• Symptomatic management of internal and external hemorrhoids (Grade I and II) to reduce pain, inflammation, and localized edema
• Relief of discomfort, burning, and spasms associated with acute or chronic anal fissures
• Symptomatic relief of anorectal pruritus (anal itching), perianal eczema, and post-hemorrhoidectomy tissue recovery support

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Clean and gently dry the perianal area prior to application.
• For External Use: Apply a small quantity of gel directly onto affected external areas using clean fingertips.
• For Internal/Rectal Use: Attach the provided cannula nozzle to the tube, gently insert into the rectum, and squeeze out a small amount of gel while slowly withdrawing the applicator. Wash the nozzle thoroughly with warm soapy water after each use.

Recommended Frequency:

• Apply 2 to 3 times daily (morning, bedtime, and preferably after each bowel movement) or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For anorectal topical and intra-rectal use only. If severe rectal bleeding, persistent intense pain, or fever occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician immediately to rule out structural GI pathology. Do not use continuously for more than 14 consecutive days without medical re-evaluation. Store below in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
