Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Scabees Application (100ml bottle) is a fast-acting ectoparasiticide that provides thorough eradication of skin parasites and their eggs:
• Neurotoxic Mite & Louse Eradication (Benzyl Benzoate 25% w/v): Directly penetrates the chitinous exoskeleton of Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies mites) and Pediculus humanus (lice). Once absorbed, it acts on the nervous system of the parasites, inducing paralysis and rapid death of adult mites, larvae, and eggs.
• Burrow Cleansing & Ovicidal Action: Penetrates cutaneous burrows created by female scabies mites within the stratum corneum, destroying hidden parasites and preventing secondary re-infestation.
• Rapid Parasite Clearance: Halts the lifecycle of scabies and pediculosis infestations, preventing further parasitic spreading across the skin.

Clinical Indications

• Scabees Application 100ml is indicated for:
• Treatment of scabies infestations caused by Sarcoptes scabiei in adults and children
• Eradication of pediculosis capitis (head lice) and pediculosis pubis (crab lice)
• Symptomatic treatment of parasitic skin infestations accompanied by intense nocturnal itching and papular skin eruptions

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• For Scabies: Take a warm bath or shower and dry the skin thoroughly before application. Apply Scabees Application liberally over the entire body surface from the neck down to the soles of the feet (including between fingers, toes, skin folds, and under nails). Allow the lotion to dry. Leave on the skin for 24 hours, then wash off thoroughly with warm water and soap. A second application after 24 hours or a repeat treatment after 7 days may be recommended in severe cases.
• For Lice: Apply to affected hairy areas (scalp or pubic region), leave on for 24 hours, and wash off thoroughly with warm water. Comb out dead lice and nits using a fine-toothed nit comb.
• Environmental Care: Wash all bedding, clothing, and towels used in the past 4 days in hot water to prevent re-infestation. Treat all household contacts simultaneously.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external topical use only. Do not apply to the face, eyes, mucous membranes, or severely inflamed/broken skin. Benzyl benzoate can cause a transient burning or stinging sensation upon application. Pediatric Dilution: For children under 12 years, dilute with an equal volume or 2 parts of water (reducing concentration to 12.5% or 8.3%) before application. Avoid use in infants under 2 years without specialized medical supervision. Discontinue use if severe skin hypersensitivity or contact dermatitis occurs. Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct heat. Keep out of reach of children.
