• Varicose Vein Stockings AG Medium (thigh-high compression hosiery designed for medium leg circumferences) applies anatomical graduated pressure to support full-leg vascular function:
• Full-Leg Graduated Hemodynamic Pressure: Delivers maximum compression at the distal ankle ($100\%$ nominal pressure, typically $20\text{--}30\text{ mmHg}$ Class 2 or $15\text{--}20\text{ mmHg}$ Class 1), which steadily decreases upward through the calf ($70\%$) to the upper thigh ($40\%$). This continuous gradient propels venous blood upward past both popliteal and femoral venous valves toward the heart.
• Expanded Venous Diameter Reduction: Mechanically constricts superficial and perforator veins along the entire lower extremity, reducing vessel lumen diameter and restoring valvular competence at the saphenofemoral junction ($\text{SFJ}$) as well as lower leg vein segments.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Put on compression stockings early in the morning before leg edema develops. Gather the stocking down to the heel, slip the foot in, and gently pull up over the ankle, calf, knee, and thigh until the silicone top band rests comfortably on the upper thigh. Ensure the stocking is distributed evenly without folds or twisting.

Recommended Sizing:

• Size Medium (AG length: Ankle to Groin / Upper Thigh). Measure ankle circumference, calf circumference, thigh circumference, and full leg length to confirm proper fit.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external lower extremity use only. Contraindicated in patients with severe peripheral arterial disease ($\text{PAD}$ with $\text{ABPI} < 0.5$), decompensated heart failure, severe peripheral neuropathy, or massive leg phlegmasia cerulea dolens. Inspect skin daily under the top band for irritation or rolling. Discontinue use and consult a physician if numbness, skin discoloration, or severe pain occurs. Hand wash with mild detergent in warm water and air dry away from direct heat to preserve elastomeric fibers.
