- VDM-Kit 4s is a combination prescription medication containing three active ingredients: fluconazole, azithromycin and secnidazole. These medicines have antifungal, antibacterial and antiprotozoal activity, respectively, and may be prescribed for certain mixed vaginal or reproductive tract infections when clinically appropriate.
- The combination targets different types of organisms that can contribute to vaginal infections. Fluconazole treats susceptible fungal infections, azithromycin treats susceptible bacterial infections, and secnidazole acts against susceptible anaerobic bacteria and certain protozoa.
