• Antioxidant Protection & Radical Scavenging: Acts as a primary water-soluble antioxidant that neutralizes reactive oxygen species (ROS) and free radicals, protecting cellular structures, lipids, and nucleic acids from oxidative damage.
• Collagen Biosynthesis & Tissue Repair: Serves as an essential cofactor for prolyl and lysyl hydroxylase enzymes, which are necessary for the cross-linking and stabilization of collagen triple helices.
