• Cyclooxygenase Inhibition (Diclofenac Diethylamine): Selectively inhibits $\text{COX-1}$ and $\text{COX-2}$ enzymes in surrounding peripheral tissues, suppressing the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins ($\text{PGE}_2$). This reduces local inflammation, swelling, and nociceptive pain signaling without equivalent systemic gastrointestinal toxicity.
• TRP Channel Modulation & Counter-Irritation (Menthol & Methyl Salicylate): Menthol activates cutaneous $\text{TRPM8}$ cold receptors to deliver a cooling sensation that gates nociceptive transmission. Methyl Salicylate induces hyperemic skin warming, dilating local microvessels to relieve deep-seated muscular tension and soreness.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Apply a thin layer ($2\text{--}4\text{ g}$, roughly cherry to walnut-sized) to the affected area and gently massage into the skin 3 to 4 times daily. Wash hands thoroughly after application unless treating hands.

Recommended Frequency:

• Apply up to 3 to 4 times daily as needed.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external topical use on intact skin only. Do not apply to open wounds, cut or broken skin, eczema, or near sensitive mucosal surfaces and eyes. Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, aspirin, or other $\text{NSAIDs}$ (including a history of aspirin-induced asthma, urticaria, or acute rhinitis).
