Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Bliscal Tabs (30-tablet pack) combines essential bioavailable calcium with Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) to optimize bone remodeling and neuromuscular health:
• Bone Mineralization & Skeletal Strength (Elemental Calcium 500mg): Provides elemental calcium required for building and maintaining dense bone matrix and tooth enamel. Calcium is also essential for physiological processes including muscular contraction, cardiac rhythm maintenance, and nerve signal transmission.
• Enhanced Intestinal Absorption (Vitamin D3 / Cholecalciferol): Facilitates the active absorption of calcium and phosphorus across the intestinal mucosa into the bloodstream, preventing serum hypocalcemia and minimizing calcium leaching from bones.
• Synergistic Osteo-Protection: Reduces the risk of progressive bone loss, fragility fractures, and osteomalacia, particularly in individuals with high physiological calcium demands or reduced dietary intake.

Clinical Indications

• Bliscal Tabs 30s is indicated for:
• Treatment and prevention of calcium and Vitamin D3 deficiency states

• Calcium supplementation during periods of elevated demand, including pregnancy, lactation, post-menopause, and old age

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Take 1 tablet daily (or as directed by a healthcare professional), preferably after meals (such as an evening meal) to maximize gastrointestinal absorption and minimize mild stomach upset. Swallow whole with a full glass of water.

Precautions & Warnings:

Contraindications:

• Do not use in patients with hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels), severe hypercalciuria (excessive urine calcium levels), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D, or severe renal impairment.

Drug Interactions:

• Maintain an interval of at least 2 hours between taking Bliscal and oral iron supplements, zinc, thyroid hormones (e.g., Levothyroxine), or tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics, as calcium binds to these agents and reduces their absorption.

General Care:

• Consult a doctor before use if you have existing cardiac, renal, or thyroid disorders. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
