• Infant D Capsules ($30\text{-capsule}$ pack of single-dose twist-off liquid softgels containing Vitamin D3 $400\text{ IU} / 10\mu\text{g}$) delivers essential cholecalciferol tailored for neonatal and infant physiological development:
• Intestinal Calcium & Phosphate Absorption: Converted in the liver to 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 [25(OH)D3] and subsequently in the kidneys to active 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 [1,25(OH)2D3]. This active hormone upregulates epithelial calcium transport proteins (TRPV6) and calbindin within the enterocyte microvilli, maximizing intestinal absorption of dietary calcium and phosphate.
