Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Blistex Lip Relief (5g tube) delivers fast, targeted relief for painful, damaged, or chapped lip tissue through a dual soothing and barrier-restoring action:
• Analgesic & Cooling Relief (Camphor & Menthol): Menthol and camphor stimulate localized cold-sensitive thermoreceptors while providing mild topical analgesic effects. This produces an immediate cooling sensation that dulls pain, tingling, and itching associated with cracked lips and cold sores.
• Deep Penetrating Hydration & Softening: Formulated in a conditioning cream base rich in emollients (such as lanolin and mineral oils) that deeply penetrate cracked lip tissue to hydrate, soften rough patches, and restore skin elasticity.
• Protective Lipid Barrier: Establishes a protective moisture shield over delicate labial mucosa, preventing environmental dehydration caused by wind, dry air, cold weather, and sun exposure.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Gently squeeze a small amount of cream onto the applicator tip or a clean fingertip. Apply evenly across the lips 3 to 4 times daily, or as needed when lips feel dry, sore, or exposed to harsh environments. Reapply before going outdoors in cold, windy, or dry weather.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For external application to the lips only. Do not swallow. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If redness, swelling, or irritation develops and persists for more than 7 days, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
