KNEE SUPPORT OLYMPIAN MEDIUM

Overview

The knee is one of the most heavily stressed joints in the human body, bearing structural weight during walking, running, and lifting. Following a physical strain, minor ligament sprain, or due to chronic conditions like osteoarthritis, the joint structures can become unstable, resulting in localized fluid retention, inflammation, and sharp movement pain. Without external stabilization, everyday weight-bearing actions can worsen tissue inflammation and lengthen recovery times.

1. Uniform Joint Compression: The advanced elastic knit applies steady, circumferential compression across the patella, collateral ligaments, and soft tissues. This localized pressure physically prevents excess fluid buildup, helping to reduce swelling and edema.
2. Proprioceptive Stabilization: By providing constant tactile feedback to the skin and underlying nerves, the sleeve improves proprioception (the brain’s awareness of joint positioning). This leads to safer movement patterns, reduces joint micro-wobbles, and helps prevent accidental twists or re-injury.
3. Therapeutic Heat Retention: The breathable, multi-layered fabric blend retains natural body heat around the joint. This gentle warmth boosts local blood circulation, delivering vital oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissues to soothe stiff muscles and speed up natural recovery.

Key Features & Benefits

• Anatomical Contour Knit: Designed to match the natural curvature of the leg, providing an optimal fit without bunching or rolling down.
• Four-Way Elastic Stretch: Offers firm compression while allowing full, natural knee flexibility during daily physical activities.
• Targeted Swelling Control: Helps reduce fluid retention and manages mild joint pain from strains, sprains, or arthritis.
• Breathable Comfort Material: Made from a skin-friendly fabric blend that allows air flow, keeping the skin cool and dry for extended wear.
• Low-Profile Styling: Fits comfortably under standard trousers or over sports gear, providing discreet support wherever you go

Sizing & How to Measure

• Size: Medium (M)

• Measurement Guide: To ensure a proper therapeutic fit, measure the circumference around the center of the knee cap while standing. A Medium fit typically accommodates a knee circumference range of 34 to 38 cm (approx. 13.5 to 15 inches).

• If the measurement falls on the upper boundary, choose a size up for comfort; select a snug fit for maximum clinical compression.

How to Use & Care

• Application: Hold the top, wider end of the sleeve. Pull it up smoothly over the foot and calf until the center compression zone sits directly over the knee cap. Adjust the edges to ensure the fabric lies flat against the skin without creases.

• Washing Instructions: To maintain elastic strength, hand wash in cold water using a mild soap. Lay flat to air dry in the shade. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, or use bleach.
