Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Pregnacare Breast-feeding (84s dual-pack containing 56 tablets + 28 softgel capsules) is formulated to satisfy the elevated physiological and nutritional demands placed on the female body throughout the postpartum and nursing periods:
• Postnatal Bone & Energy Recovery (Micronutrient Tablets): Provides 700mg Calcium alongside Vitamin D3 and Magnesium to safeguard maternal bone mineral density during lactation when calcium transfer to breast milk is high. Includes non-constipating Iron and B-complex vitamins (B6, B12, Niacin) to rebuild red blood cell mass and reduce postnatal tiredness and fatigue.
• Infant Neurological & Visual Matrix (Omega-3 DHA Capsules): Delivers 300mg Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) derived from pharmaceutical-grade, molecularly distilled fish oil. Maternal DHA intake directly enriches breast milk composition, supporting normal cerebral tissue and retinal development in breastfed infants.
• Endocrine & Lactation Support: Supplies Iodine, Zinc, and Folic Acid to regulate thyroid function, cellular regeneration, and systemic immunity in new mothers during recovery from childbirth.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Take 2 Postnatal Micronutrient Tablets (green blister) plus 1 Omega-3 DHA Capsule (pink blister) per day. Swallow whole with water or a cold drink during or immediately after a main meal. Do not chew.

Recommended Dosage:

• Postpartum & Lactating Women: 2 tablets + 1 capsule daily. Safe for use throughout the entire nursing period or for up to 6–9 months post-childbirth if not breastfeeding.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Take only on a full stomach to prevent stomach upset. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Contains fish (omega-3) and soya. Contains iron, which if taken in excess, can be harmful to young children. Consult a physician before use if you are under medical supervision or taking anticoagulants.
