  • Overview & Technical Features
  • Dr. Morepen Stainless Steel Stethoscope provides outstanding acoustic performance and structural durability for demanding clinical environments:
  • Precision-Machined Stainless Steel Chestpiece: Built with high-density stainless steel for optimal acoustic conduction and minimal sound attenuation. Features a dual-sided design with an ultra-sensitive diaphragm for high-frequency cardiac and pulmonary acoustics, and a deep non-chill bell for low-frequency murmurs and vascular sounds.
  • Heavy-Duty Latex-Free Acoustic Tubing: Constructed with thick-walled, latex-free PVC acoustic tubing engineered to minimize ambient noise interference, isolate friction, and deliver clear, undistorted acoustic signals across the entire frequency spectrum.
  • Anatomically Adjusted Stainless Steel Binaural Headset: Features stainless steel binaural tubes angled to match natural ear canal anatomy, with an internal spring mechanism for customizable tension, durability, and a comfortable acoustic seal.
  • Soft-Sealing Comfort Ear Tips: Equipped with soft silicone ear tips that conform securely to the ear canal, blocking external room noise while ensuring comfortable wear during extended hospital rounds.

Clinical Indications

  • Dr. Morepen Stainless Steel Stethoscope is indicated for:
  • Precision auscultation of heart sounds ($S_1$, $S_2$, $S_3$, $S_4$), pathological cardiac murmurs, and valvular abnormalities
  • Detailed pulmonary auscultation including normal vesicular breath sounds and adventitious sounds (crackles, wheezes, rhonchi)
  • Non-invasive arterial blood pressure evaluation using standard manual sphygmomanometers
  • General diagnostic physical examinations in outpatient clinics, emergency departments, intensive care units, and ward rounds

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Align the binaural headset so that the ear tips point forward toward the user's nose. Rotate the chestpiece stem until it clicks into place to open the desired side (diaphragm or bell). Apply the active chestpiece side firmly against the patient's skin at standard anatomical landmark points.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Clean all surfaces including the chestpiece, diaphragm, tubing, and ear tips after each patient contact using 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes. Do not submerge the instrument in liquid, autoclave, or expose to harsh sterilizing chemicals. Periodically check ear tips and diaphragm tightness to ensure optimum acoustic performance.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external non-invasive physical examination only. Store in a clean, dry location away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and physical impact. Keep out of reach of children.
