Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Trihistamin Syrup (100ml oral liquid) combines potent antihistaminic and decongestant mechanisms to counteract inflammatory allergy pathways and clear blocked airways.
• Selective Histamine $H_1$-Receptor Antagonism: Competitively binds to peripheral $H_1$-histamine receptor sites, preventing histamine from triggering vascular permeability, mucosal edema, pruritus, and smooth muscle constriction.
• Sympathomimetic Vascular Decongestion: Stimulates vascular $\alpha$-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa, inducing vasoconstriction that shrinks swollen turbinates and opens congested nasal air passages.

• Trihistamin Syrup 100ml is indicated for:
• Symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, hay fever, and allergic conjunctivitis
• Relief of nasal, sinus, and upper respiratory tract congestion accompanying common colds or upper respiratory allergies
• Management of histamine-induced dermatological conditions, including acute urticaria (hives), itching, and allergic skin reactions

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Measure the exact dose using a calibrated measuring cup or spoon. Take with or without food; take with meals if mild stomach upset occurs.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults and Children over 12 years: 5ml to 10ml 3 to 4 times daily, or as prescribed by a physician.
• Children 6–12 years: 2.5ml to 5ml 3 to 4 times daily.
• Children 2–5 years: 1.25ml to 2.5ml 3 times daily under direct medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For oral administration only. May cause drowsiness, sedation, or impaired alertness; exercise caution when driving or operating machinery.
