How to Prepare a Feed Safely

• Boil Water: Boil fresh water and allow it to cool in the kettle for 30 minutes until it reaches approximately 40°C (do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water).
• Measure Water: Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into your sterilized feeding bottle.
• Mix Thoroughly: Cap the bottle and shake vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds until the powder is fully dissolved.
• Check Temperature: Cool the bottle under a running tap if necessary. Always check the temperature of the milk on the inside of your wrist before feeding (it should feel lukewarm).

Important Notice:

Breastfeeding is best for babies. Aptamil Follow On Milk should only be used as part of a mixed diet from 6 months onwards and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute during the first 6 months of life.
