Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions
- Preparation Instructions: Wash hands thoroughly and sterilize all feeding utensils (bottles, teats, and caps) in boiling water for 5 minutes prior to preparation. Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approximately $40^\circ\text{C}$. Pour the exact volume of warm water into the sterilized bottle. Use only the enclosed scoop to measure powder, leveling each scoop with a clean, dry knife edge. Add the prescribed number of level scoops into the bottle. Cap and shake well until powder is completely dissolved. Always check milk temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
Precautions & Warnings:
- Important Notice: Breastfeeding is best for infants. Optilait 2 is a follow-on formula suitable only for infants over 6 months of age and should form only part of a mixed diet; it is not intended to replace breast milk during the first 6 months of life. Use prepared formula within 1 hour and discard any uneaten portion. Do not freeze prepared formula or use a microwave oven to heat formula to prevent thermal burns. Store unopened tin below $25^\circ\text{C}$ in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep tin tightly closed and use contents within 3 to 4 weeks.
