  • Aqueous Cream (500g tub) provides simple, effective dermatological hydration and barrier protection for dry and reactive skin conditions:
  • Occlusive Barrier Restoration: Supplies an emulsion of water and oil that forms a protective thin film over the stratum corneum, significantly reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and trapping moisture in epidermal layers.
  • Soothing Emollient Action: Softens coarse, flaky, or cracked skin, relieving tightness and dry-skin-induced itching (pruritus) without leaving a heavy or greasy residue.
  • Soap-Free Gentle Cleansing: Functions as a mild, non-drying soap substitute that cleanses delicate skin without stripping away natural surface lipids or altering skin pH, preventing flare-ups caused by harsh synthetic soaps.

  • Aqueous Cream 500g is indicated for:
  • Daily hydration and symptom management of chronic dry skin conditions, including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and ichthyosis

  • Daily use as a gentle soap substitute for sensitive, inflamed, or allergy-prone skin

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • As a Moisturizer: Apply generously to the affected skin areas as often as needed. Smooth gently into the skin in the direction of hair growth; do not rub vigorously.
  • As a Soap Substitute: Smooth over wet skin before bathing or showering, then rinse gently with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Apply frequently throughout the day (typically 2 to 4 times daily, or whenever skin feels dry and tight).

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external dermatological use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water. Formulations containing sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) may cause mild local stinging or irritation in patients with severe active eczema; discontinue use if persistent redness or irritation develops. Store below 25°C in a dry place away from direct heat. Keep out of reach of children.
