  • Bepanthen Ointment (30g tube by Bayer) provides dual protective and restorative actions to soothe and rebuild fragile skin without clogging pores:
  • Pro-Vitamin B5 Cellular Regeneration (Dexpanthenol 5% w/w): Rapidly converts in cutaneous cells to pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), an essential component of Coenzyme A. This drives intracellular lipid synthesis, accelerates re-epithelialization, and promotes natural repair of damaged epidermal layers.
  • Breathable Moisture Barrier Formulation: Creates a semi-occlusive, water-in-oil protective film on the skin surface. This transparent barrier shields delicate skin against moisture irritants (e.g., urine, digestive enzymes, friction) while allowing the skin to breathe and recover naturally.
  • Emollient Softening & Soothing Action: Rich in refined natural emollients that soften dry, rough, or cracked skin, relieving soreness, redness, and chafing.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • For Nappy Rash: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin at every nappy change.
  • For Breastfeeding Care: Apply to nipples after each nursing session. Gently wipe off any excess ointment before the next feed.
  • For General Skin Healing: Apply 1 to 2 times daily to clean, affected skin areas as needed.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external topical use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to Dexpanthenol, Lanolin, or any of the ointment ingredients. Discontinue use if localized allergic skin reactions develop. Free from artificial colors, fragrances, and preservatives. Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
