  • Atrizin Syrup (60ml bottle) delivers long-lasting symptom control for upper respiratory and dermatological allergic conditions:
  • Selective Histamine $H_1$-Receptor Antagonism (Cetirizine HCl 5mg/5ml): Competitively blocks peripheral $H_1$ histamine receptors on target tissues, preventing endogenous histamine binding. This stops the allergic inflammatory cascade, reducing vascular permeability, mucosal edema, and sensory nerve itching.
  • Inhibition of Eosinophil Migration: Suppresses the late-phase recruitment and migration of eosinophils and inflammatory mediators to affected cutaneous and mucosal tissues, preventing recurring allergy flare-ups.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Take orally using a precise measuring spoon or dosing syringe. May be taken with or without food.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Adults & Children over 12 years: 10ml (10mg) once daily.
  • Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml (5mg) twice daily or 10ml (10mg) once daily.
  • Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5ml (2.5mg) twice daily or 5ml (5mg) once daily.
  • Children under 2 years: Strictly as directed by a pediatrician.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • Use with caution in patients with moderate-to-severe renal impairment or hepatic insufficiency (dose adjustment may be necessary). Although considered non-sedating, somnolence can occur in sensitive individuals; monitor response before driving or operating machinery. Avoid concurrent alcohol or central nervous system depressant consumption. Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from direct light and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
