  • Cadistin Plus Syrup (100ml bottle) provides combined multi-action relief for upper respiratory tract allergies, congestion, and mucus accumulation:
  • Antihistamine Allergy Relief (Chlorpheniramine Maleate): Competitively blocks peripheral $H_1$ histamine receptors on capillary endothelium, preventing allergic cascade responses such as profuse sneezing, watery eyes, rhinorrhea, and itchy nasal passages.
  • Nasal Decongestion (Phenylephrine Hydrochloride): Acts as a selective $\alpha_1$-adrenergic receptor agonist, causing vasoconstriction of dilated arterioles within the nasal mucosa. This reduces vascular engorgement, decreases tissue swelling, and re-opens constricted nasal passages.
  • Expectorant & Mucus Clearance (Ammonium Chloride & Sodium Citrate): Irritates the gastric mucosa to reflexively stimulate bronchial gland secretion, thinning thick phlegm and lowering mucus viscosity so it can be cleared easily via productive coughing.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Take orally using a precise measuring spoon or dosing cup. May be taken with or without food. Drink adequate fluids throughout the day to support mucus liquefaction.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Adults & Adolescents over 12 years: 10ml three to four times daily.
  • Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml three times daily.
  • Children 2 to 5 years: 2.5ml three times daily, or strictly as directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Children under 2 years: Use only under direct medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • May cause drowsiness or sedation; avoid operating heavy machinery or driving after administration.
