Coldcap Capsules 12s is a powerful multi-action cold and flu medication formulated with Paracetamol, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine, and Caffeine to quickly relieve fever, sinus headaches, nasal congestion, runny nose, and body pain.

Overview & Mechanism of Action

  • Coldcap Capsules 12s is a multi-ingredient therapeutic designed to simultaneously address the full spectrum of viral cold and upper respiratory symptoms. Each capsule contains four complementary active compounds:
  • Paracetamol (400 mg): A centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic that reduces fever and relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.
  • Pseudoephedrine HCl (30 mg): A sympathomimetic nasal and upper respiratory decongestant. It acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors to constrict swollen blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, clearing airways and restoring airflow.
  • Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4 mg): A first-generation H1-receptor antihistamine that blocks histamine release to stop sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and allergic irritation.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous (30 mg): A central nervous system stimulant that enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol while helping offset mild drowsiness caused by the antihistamine.
  • Clinical Indications
  • Coldcap Capsules 12s is indicated for the rapid management of acute viral upper respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, and seasonal allergies, including:
  • Fever, chills, and body aches associated with cold and flu
  • Nasal congestion, blocked nasal passages, and sinus congestion
  • Sinus headaches and tension pain
  • Rhinitis, excessive mucus, sneezing, and watery eyes
