Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Dawahist Expectorant Syrup (100ml bottle) delivers a combination of active mucolytic expectorants and antihistamines engineered to clear chesty coughs and relieve accompanying allergic respiratory symptoms:
• Expectoration & Secretion Liquefaction (Ammonium Chloride & Sodium Citrate): Stimulates gastric mucosal receptors to reflexively increase respiratory tract fluid production, significantly lowering phlegm viscosity and enabling the easy expulsion of sticky mucus from the bronchial tree.
• Antihistaminic & Anti-Allergic Response (Chlorpheniramine Maleate): Competitively blocks peripheral $\text{H}_1$-histamine receptors, suppressing allergic hypersensitivity reactions, drying up post-nasal drip, and reducing rhinorrhea, sneezing, and tickling cough reflexes.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults and Adolescents over 12 years: 10ml to 15ml three to four times daily as needed.
• Children 6–12 years: 5ml to 7.5ml three to four times daily.
