  • Mucociliary Clearance & Expectorant Action (Guaifenesin): Increases the volume and reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions. By thinning tenacious mucus, it converts dry, ineffective coughing into productive coughs that clear the respiratory tract.
  • Soothing Mucosal Relief (Menthol): Provides a mild cooling and demulcent action on sensory nerve endings in the throat, easing localized pharyngeal irritation associated with frequent coughing.
  • Non-Sedating Daytime Formulation: Formulated without sedating $H_1$ antihistamines or central nervous system depressants, allowing patients to maintain full alertness and cognitive function throughout daily activities.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the recommended dose using a calibrated measuring cup or oral spoon. Drinking adequate fluids during the day helps enhance mucus-thinning action.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Adults & Children 12 years and older: 10ml to 20ml every 4 hours as needed. Maximum 80ml in a 24-hour period.
  • Children 6 to 11 years: 5ml to 10ml every 4 hours as needed. Maximum 40ml in a 24-hour period.
  • Children under 6 years: Not recommended unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For oral use only. Do not exceed the stated dose. If cough persists for more than 7 days, recurs, or is accompanied by high fever, persistent rash, or headache, consult a healthcare professional.
