Pack: 1's
A highly effective, dermatologist-tested 3-step skincare regimen specifically formulated to target persistent acne, unclog pores, and reduce blemishes. Designed by La Roche-Posay for oily and acne-prone skin, this starter kit combines the power of salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and micro-exfoliating LHA to deeply cleanse the skin, refine texture, and clear up breakouts while respecting the skin’s natural barrier.
The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Routine Kit is a clinically proven, multi-step skincare system tailored to treat acne, blackheads, and uneven skin tone at their source. Instead of relying on a single ingredient, the kit uses a synergistic blend of dermatological acids to address multiple stages of acne formation—from excess sebum (oil) production to cellular buildup inside the pores. Formulated with soothing La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, it balances intense acne-clearing power with skin barrier protection, reducing the irritation and peeling often caused by traditional acne treatments.
Multi-Acid Synergistic Mechanism
The core clinical success of the Effaclar routine lies in its precise combination of chemical exfoliants, which clear acne across different layers of the skin:
The 3-Step Treatment Routine
The Regimen
1.Cleanse: Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser:
Morning & Night.
Wet face with lukewarm water. Massage the foaming gel gently into the skin to allow 2% Salicylic Acid to deep-clean pores and eliminate excess surface oil. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
2.Tone: Effaclar Clarifying Solution:
Once or Twice Daily.
Apply the toner using a soft cotton pad across the entire face or targeted oily areas. The combination of Glycolic Acid and LHA gently removes any remaining debris, tightens pores, and prepares the skin for targeted treatment.
3.Treat: Effaclar Dual Action Acne Treatment:
Targeted Application.
Apply a thin layer to specific blemishes or breakout-prone zones. Formulated with 5% Micronized Benzoyl Peroxide, it penetrates deep into the pores to kill acne-causing bacteria (Cutibacterium acnes) rapidly, reducing inflammation within hours.
Pro Skincare Tip:
Because benzoyl peroxide and hydroxy acids increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun, always finish your morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to prevent sunburn and dark spots.
