• Efferalgan 500mg Tablets (16-tablet pack) supplies fast-acting Paracetamol for reliable fever reduction and pain management:
• Central Prostaglandin Inhibition (Paracetamol 500mg): Acts primarily by inhibiting cyclooxygenase ($\text{COX-1}$ and $\text{COX-2}$) enzymes in the central nervous system, suppressing central prostaglandin ($\text{PGE}_2$) synthesis to raise the pain threshold and lower the elevated hypothalamic heat-regulating center set point.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Swallow tablets whole with a glass of water. Efferalgan may be taken with or without food.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults and Adolescents over 12 years (body weight > 50kg): 1 to 2 tablets (500mg to 1000mg) every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets (4000mg total) within a 24-hour period.
• Children 6 to 12 years: Use lower dosage formulations or divide dosing according to weight ($10\text{--}15\,\text{mg/kg}$ per dose) under clinical advice.

Precautions & Warnings:
