  • Flugone EX Expectorant (60ml bottle) provides multi-action symptomatic relief for wet, chesty coughs and upper respiratory tract congestion:
  • Expectorant & Mucus Thinning (Guaifenesin): Increases respiratory tract fluid secretions while decreasing the viscosity and surface tension of accumulated phlegm. This thins tenacious bronchial secretions, enabling effective mucociliary transport and easier expulsion through productive coughing.
  • Bronchial Decongestion & Airway Clearance: Relieves chest tightness and airway resistance by facilitating the rapid breakdown and evacuation of sticky mucus plugs lodged within the lower respiratory tract.
  • Antihistamine & Soothing Action: Blocks peripheral histamine $H_1$-receptors to reduce localized mucosal swelling, nasal secretions, and throat irritation, delivering smooth airflow and reducing cough reflex spasms.

  • Symptomatic treatment of chesty, wet coughs accompanied by thick phlegm or mucus hypersecretion

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

  • Take orally using an accurate measuring cup or spoon. Maintain adequate hydration by drinking fluids throughout the day to support the mucus-thinning process. May be taken with or without food.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Adults & Adolescents over 12 years: 10ml to 15ml three to four times daily.
  • Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml to 7.5ml three to four times daily.
  • Children under 6 years: Strictly as directed by a pediatrician.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • May cause mild drowsiness or lightheadedness in sensitive individuals; monitor response before driving or operating machinery. Exercise caution in patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, or severe asthma unless monitored by a physician.
