• Gemcal Softgel Capsules (30s pack) provides a synergistic triple-action mineral and vitamin formulation designed for optimal skeletal maintenance and rapid calcium uptake:
• Active Calcium Homeostasis & Intestinal Transport (Calcitriol): Delivers pre-activated Vitamin D3 (1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol) that bypasses hepatic and renal hydroxylation steps, binding directly to enterocyte vitamin D receptors to increase active intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate.

Clinical Indications

• Gemcal Softgel Capsules 30s is indicated for:
• Prevention and management of senile, idiopathic, and postmenopausal osteoporosis
• Management of hypocalcemia, osteomalacia, and renal osteodystrophy in patients with chronic kidney disease or impaired Vitamin D metabolism
• Supporting rapid bone healing and callus formation following fractures or major orthopedic procedures
• Prevention of calcium and active Vitamin D3 deficiency during prolonged corticosteroid or anticonvulsant therapy

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Swallow softgel capsules whole with water. Take during or immediately after meals for maximum digestive absorption. Do not chew or puncture the softgel.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults & Elderly: 1 softgel capsule daily, or as directed by an endocrinologist or orthopedic physician.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Do not exceed the prescribed daily dosage. Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, hypervitaminosis D, or active nephrolithiasis (kidney stones). Serum calcium and phosphate levels should be monitored periodically during long-term administration. Allow an interval of at least 2 hours between Gemcal and oral iron, tetracycline antibiotics, or bisphosphonates. Store below 25°C in a dry place protected from heat and light.
