Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Safecal Tablets (30-tablet pack) delivers a comprehensive mineral and vitamin complex engineered to optimize bone remodeling, maintenance, and structural strength:
• Calcium Bioavailability & Bone Matrix Integration ($Ca^{2+}$): Provides a high-yield source of elemental calcium, the core structural mineral necessary for hydroxyapatite crystal synthesis within the osteoid matrix. Adequate ionized calcium maintains bone density, nerve impulse transmission, and muscle contraction.
• Intestinal Absorption & Homeostasis (Vitamin D3 / Cholecalciferol): Upregulates mucosal calbindin-D transport proteins in the small intestine, dramatically increasing active $Ca^{2+}$ and phosphate absorption. It maintains systemic normocalcemia and prevents compensatory parathyroid hormone ($PTH$) elevation that causes bone resorption.
• Synergistic Bone Co-Factors (Zinc & Magnesium): Magnesium plays a vital role in converting Vitamin D into its active metabolite while maintaining bone matrix integrity. Zinc stimulates osteoblast bone formation and inhibits osteoclast-mediated bone breakdown.

• Meeting increased nutritional requirements during pregnancy, lactation, post-fracture recovery, and prolonged immobilization

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Swallow 1 tablet whole with a full glass of water, preferably after a meal to maximize gastrointestinal tolerance and mineral absorption. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults & Adolescents: Take 1 tablet once or twice daily, or strictly as prescribed by a physician or dietitian.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, severe renal impairment, or a history of calcium-containing nephrolithiasis (kidney stones). Separate administration by at least 2 to 3 hours from iron supplements, thyroid hormones (levothyroxine), tetracyclines, or fluoroquinolones, as calcium significantly reduces their gastrointestinal absorption. Store below $25^\circ\text{C}$ in a dry place protected from direct heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
