• Trimex Expectorant Paediatric (60ml oral solution) combines active expectorant, mucolytic, and airway-soothing agents tailored for pediatric respiratory relief:
• Expectorant Action (Guaifenesin): Increases the volume and reduces the viscosity of respiratory tract secretions by stimulating bronchial gland output, making phlegm thinner and easier for children to expel through coughing.
• Mucolytic Breakdown: Cleaves mucopolysaccharide fibers within thick mucus plugs, reducing phlegm tenacity and clearing congested bronchial passages.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

Administration:

• Measure the exact dose using a calibrated pediatric measuring spoon or oral dosing syringe. Administer with or after food to prevent mild gastrointestinal discomfort.

Recommended Dosage:

• Children 2–6 years: 2.5ml to 5ml three times daily, or as directed by a pediatrician.
• Children 6–12 years: 5ml to 10ml three times daily.
• Children under 2 years: Use strictly under direct medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings:

• For oral pediatric use only. Ensure adequate hydration during treatment, as fluid intake helps thin mucus secretions. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Exercise caution in children with known cardiac disease, hypertension, or hyperthyroidism.
