  • Tripozed Expectorant Syrup (100ml) is an oral combination linctus engineered to manage wet, productive coughs complicated by nasal and bronchial congestion. Its multi-ingredient formulation targets airway blockage and mucosal irritation through complementary active pathways:
  • Antihistaminic Action (Triprolidine Hydrochloride): A potent H1 histamine receptor antagonist that blocks histamine activity to soothe pharyngeal irritation, suppress allergic cough reflexes, stop sneezing, and reduce excessive nasal secretions.
  • Decongestant Action (Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride): A sympathomimetic agent that acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors to constrict swollen blood vessels within nasal and respiratory mucosa, reducing tissue swelling and clearing sinus congestion.
  • Expectorant & Mucolytic Action (Guaifenesin / Expectorant Complex): Increases output of fluid in the respiratory tract and reduces mucus stickiness, loosening thick bronchial phlegm so it can be easily coughed up and cleared.

  • Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions
  • Administration: Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Measure the precise dose using a calibrated measuring cup or spoon. May be taken with or without food.
  • Recommended Dosage:
  • Adults & Children over 12 years: 10 ml taken 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children (6–12 years): 5 ml taken 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children under 6 years: Not recommended unless under direct medical supervision.
  • Precautions & Warnings: May cause mild drowsiness, dizziness, nervousness, insomnia, or dry mouth. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
