Overview & Mechanism of Action

• Andolex C Oral Rinse (200ml) is an advanced combination topical rinse formulated for comprehensive treatment of painful inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat. It acts locally on irritated mucosal tissues through two complementary active agents:
• Targeted Analgesic & Anti-Inflammatory Action (Benzydamine HCl): A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with local anesthetic properties. It stabilizes cell membranes and inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis, rapidly numbing localized throat pain, easing painful swallowing, and reducing tissue edema.
• Broad-Spectrum Antiseptic Protection (Chlorhexidine Gluconate): A potent antibacterial agent that binds to oral mucosal surfaces and bacterial cell walls. It ruptures microbial membranes to eliminate a wide spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and fungi, preventing secondary bacterial infection of open oral lesions.
• Plaque Control & Ulcer Care: Helps control dental plaque buildup and accelerates the healing of painful mouth ulcers and post-surgical oral wounds.

Clinical Indications

• Andolex C Oral Rinse 200ml is indicated for:
• Rapid relief of severe sore throat, acute pharyngitis, and tonsillitis pain
• Symptomatic relief of aphthous stomatitis (mouth ulcers), painful cold sores, and oral thrush irritation
• Post-operative oral hygiene and pain relief following dental extractions, periodontal surgery, or tonsillectomy
• Management of painful gum inflammation (gingivitis), mucositis, and radiation-induced oral lesions

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

• Administration: For topical oral rinse and gargle use only. Measure 15 ml of solution into a cup. Rinse around the mouth or gargle in the back of the throat for 30 seconds, then spit out completely. Do not swallow.

Recommended Dosage:

• Adults & Children over 12 years: 15 ml rinsed/gargled every 1.5 to 3 hours as needed.
• Children (6–12 years): 5 ml to 10 ml under direct adult supervision.

Precautions & Warnings: Unintentional swallowing of small amounts during gargling is generally harmless, but large volume ingestion should be avoided. Prolonged continuous use may cause mild, reversible superficial staining of teeth and tongue; regular brushing minimizes this effect. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if allergic hypersensitivity, skin rash, or severe burning sensations occur.
