Overview

Superficial fungal skin infections can cause severe discomfort, cracking, and persistent irritation if left untreated. Fuclear 1% Cream utilizes Terbinafine Hydrochloride, a highly effective allylamine antifungal agent. Terbinafine works by selectively inhibiting an enzyme called squalene epoxidase in the fungal cell membrane. This causes a deficiency in ergosterol and a toxic accumulation of squalene inside the fungal cell, leading to its death (fungicidal action).

Unlike some treatments that only stop fungus from multiplying, Fuclear actively eradicates the infection, which usually results in shorter treatment times and lower recurrence rates.

Key Features & Benefits

  • True Fungicidal Action: Actively destroys fungal cells rather than simply slowing them down, leading to rapid symptom relief.
  • Targeted Symptom Relief: Quickly stops intense itching, stinging, scales, and painful skin splits between the toes or skin folds.
  • Broad-Spectrum Dermatomycosis Treatment: Highly effective against common skin infections including Tinea Pedis (athlete's foot), Tinea Cruris (jock itch), and Tinea Corporis (ringworm).
  • Excellent Skin Permeation: Formulated in a clean cream base that absorbs well into the outer stratum corneum layer of the skin, keeping the active medicine right where the infection sits.

How to Use

  • Preparation: Thoroughly wash and completely dry the affected skin area and your hands before applying.
  • Application: Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and a small surrounding area. Gently rub it in.
  • Frequency: Typically applied once or twice daily depending on clinical advice.
  • Consistency: Complete the full recommended course of treatment (usually 1 to 2 weeks) even if external symptoms clear up early, to prevent the infection from returning.
