  • Pernex Creamy Wash (50g) is a targeted dermatological wash formulated with solubilized Benzoyl Peroxide in a non-drying, creamy vehicle designed for daily management of acne-prone skin:
  • Potent Antimicrobial Action (Benzoyl Peroxide): Decomposes upon skin contact to release free oxygen radicals into hair follicles and sebaceous glands. This bactericidal action destroys Cutibacterium acnes (the primary bacteria implicated in acne flare-ups) without promoting bacterial resistance.
  • Comedolytic & Keratolytic Effect: Promotes gentle epidermal desquamation (peeling), breaking down follicular keratin plugs and shedding dead skin cells. This clears existing blackheads and whiteheads while preventing new comedones from forming.
  • Sebum Control & Hydrating Base: Helps reduce excess skin surface lipids (sebum) while the creamy base formulation cushions the skin moisture barrier, mitigating the tightness, flaking, and irritation often associated with traditional acne washes.

Usage Guidance & Safety Precautions

  • Administration: Wet the affected skin area with warm water. Gently massage Pernex Creamy Wash into the skin for 1 to 2 minutes to allow adequate contact time, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Apply once or twice daily, or as directed by a dermatologist. If excessive dryness, skin peeling, or redness occurs, reduce application frequency to once daily or every other day.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • For external dermatological use only. Do not apply near the eyes, mouth, nostrils, or sensitive mucosal membranes. Bleaching Warning: Benzoyl peroxide will bleach colored fabrics, towels, clothing, carpet, and dyed hair upon contact. Avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight and artificial UV rays; apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily during use. Discontinue if severe cutaneous irritation or contact allergic dermatitis occurs.
