- TERBEX CREAM 15GM is a topical antifungal medication containing terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/w, used to treat fungal infections of the skin. Terbinafine works by inhibiting an enzyme involved in the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This action disrupts the fungal cell membrane and helps eliminate the fungi responsible for the infection.
- TERBEX CREAM is indicated for common fungal skin infections, including ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and athlete's foot (tinea pedis). By treating the underlying fungal infection, it helps relieve associated symptoms such as itching, redness, scaling, and skin discomfort. It is intended for external application to affected skin and should not be used to treat unrelated skin conditions without appropriate medical advice.
- To use, clean and thoroughly dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of cream as directed by a healthcare professional or the product leaflet.
